This was the second of a two-piece commission I did for an electrician who was doing some work on my house. He liked my art and initially asked me if I would paint a portrait of a cow for him. I was surprised at his request, since I was not aware of the popularity of cow portraits. When I am able to, I like to meet with the clients and see where they will hang the painting to determine the proper proportions of the painting for the space. The area they were going to hang it was the left side of a large wall that also had a flat screen television in the middle. This second painting balanced out the wall space.
