No Special Effects ... Just Talent

I was inspired to paint this after seeing a show in Branson. It was at the Little Opry Theatre and featured Leroy New performing his Tribute to Marty Robbins. The bass player came out before the show to "warm us up." When previewing the show, he said that they didn't have any fancy lights, disco balls, or fog machines like a lot of the big Branson shows. Here, there was going to be "no special effects ... just talent." That stuck with me as the title for this piece.
