The Homestead Pickers

Description

I got the idea for this work after watching The Homestead Pickers, a Bluegrass group who performs in the homestead cabin at Silver Dollar City. I tried to capture the atmosphere and joy of the performance. In this composition, I used transparency to capture the many and sometimes abruptly changing sounds of the musical instruments.
